Crimson Seedless carries long, deep-red seedless berries with a crisp bite that holds for weeks after picking — one of the most commercial late choices there is. It comes in late to very late, once the early varieties have finished, and crops reliably. Two things decide the result: in real heat it struggles to reach full colour, and berry size depends on how you manage the crop load. An American variety from USDA in California, out of Emperor; VIVC no. 16019.

About the variety
Crimson is a late red seedless variety with firm, crisp flesh and a sweet, neutral flavour. It ripens when most varieties have finished and stretches the harvest into autumn.
In your garden
Choose a sunny spot, good drainage and sturdy support. It is very vigorous: restrain excess growth and heavy crops. Good light on the clusters helps colouring, without sudden exposure to strong sun.
Indicative for lowland Cyprus. Berry size, sweetness and ripening time depend on site, climate, crop load and care.
